Synopsis
In a remote village in the mountains of Kurdistan, a lonely woman awaits the return of her son from military service. When she receives no news from him, she tries to find him. But in doing so, she discovers that he has a new identity, and she is pushed into a dilemma to deal with it.

SORANI TO COME لە مانگی ئەیلولی ٢٠١٦، سەرۆک کۆماری تورکیا ئەمینداری بۆ جێگرتنەوەی بەرپرسانی هەڵبژێردراو لە شارەوانییەکانی لایەنگری کورد دامەزراند، بەمەش دەسەڵاتی حوکمڕانی ناوخۆیی لێسەندرایەوە. چوار دانیشتووی دیاربەکر هەوڵی پاراستنی کولتووری کوردی لە ڕێگەی زەوی و جەستە و خواردن و مۆسیقاوە دەدەن. لەگەڵ پەرەسەندنی چیرۆکەکانیان، بەریەککەوتنی ئیپیکی نێوان چاکە و خراپە لەسەر شانۆیەکی دراماتیک دەکرێتەوە.
Director's Bio
Saman Hosseinpuor, born in Rojhilati Kurdistan, holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in cinema and is a fellow of the Busan Asian Film School (AFiS) program. He is an alumnus of the Asian Film Academy, the Naff Fantastic Film School, and Berlinale Talents. As a writer and director, he has made ten short films that have been screened at more than a hundred film festivals, including the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Zlín International Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, Beijing Student Film Festival, and Red Sea International Film Festival. His films focus on Kurdish culture, particularly the experiences of Kurdish people in Rojhilat. He is an official member of the Iranian Short Film Association.
