Synopsis
In a haunting Icelandic setting, a brilliant but disturbed serial killer creates grotesque works of “art” using human bodies, throwing the small, tight-knit population into chaos and fear. Desperate to understand and stop the killer, authorities turn to an imprisoned, legendary murderer—the Devil incarnate—believed to be the most dangerous mind in criminal history. A young profiler or detective is tasked with interviewing this entity, but the deeper they go into the Devil’s twisted logic, the more they risk losing their grip on reality. As the boundary between evil and artistry blurs, the ultimate question emerges: to catch a monster, how close must one come to becoming one?

Director's Bio
Mohammed Sami holds a BA in filmmaking from his hometown of Silêmanî and another from the Kvikmyndataekni program at Studio Sýrland in Iceland. Starting in 2018 as a camera assistant and a PA, he has worked in television and commercials. He has passion for storytelling and, as a cinematographer, a distinctive visual style. As a director, he has created 3 short films, most recently Interview with the Devil.
