Rojda Ezgi Oral studied radio, television and cinema at Mardin Artuklu University, Faculty of Fine Arts, and graduated in 2022-23 in first place. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communication design at the same university.Her screenplay Does Every Life Fit in Home? was selected for the New Generation Cinema School —it was turned into a short film that was screened at the 59th Antalya Film Festival. In 2022 she worked on the film Bîraxane as an assistant director.  She makes her directorial debut with Home Made (2024), which she also wrote. Oral continues to work in both fiction and documentary filmmaking. Her work explores themes of identity, memory, language, cultural belonging, and the invisible structures of everyday life.
