Synopsis
A middle-aged man who is a projectionist of a small-town cinema meets his teenage love after many years. The faces of all the residents of the city are deformed and only crying will make their faces return to their normal form.
پیاوێکی تەمەن سەروو چل ساڵ کە کار لە بەتیشککردنی سینەمایەکی شارۆچکەیەک دەکات، دوای چەندین ساڵ دووبارە خۆشەویستی هەرزەکاری خۆی دەبینێت. ڕوخساری هەموو دانیشتوانی شارەکە شێواوە و تەنها گریان وا دەکات ڕووخساریان بگەڕێتەوە بۆ فۆڕمی ئاسایی خۆیان.

Director's Bio
Born in 1992 in Rojhilati, Kurdistan, As’adi holds an MA in dramatic literature. In addition to Fountain, he created two short animations, Blows with the Wind (2016) and Xulanewe (2020). They have won more than fifty national and international awards. including Best Animation at the 71st Youth Cinema Region Festival (Iran 2025) and at the 14th Sayeh Short Film Festival (Iran 2025). He served as a juror for the 7th Annual Florida Animation Festival in 2022. He is a member of ASIFA of Iran. He says of Fountain: “Inspired by personal experiences, this film blends elements of reality and fantasy, creating a unique yet universal atmosphere.”
ئەسعەدی لە ساڵی ١٩٩٢ لە ڕۆژهەڵاتی کوردستان لەدایکبووە و خاوەنی بڕوانامەی ماستەرە لە ئەدەبیاتی درامادا. جگە لە فۆنتەین، دوو ئەنیمەیشنی کورتی دروستکردووە بە ناوەکانی(Blows with the Wind 2016) و (Xulanewe 2020). زیاتر لە پەنجا خەڵاتی نیشتمانی و نێودەوڵەتییان بەدەستهێناوە. لەوانە باشترین ئەنیمەیشن لە ٧١ەمین فێستیڤاڵی هەرێمی سینەمای لاوان (ئێران ٢٠٢٥) و لە چواردەهەمین فێستیڤاڵی کورتە فیلمی سایە (ئێران ٢٠٢٥). لە ساڵی ٢٠٢٢ وەک دەستەی هەڵبژاردن بۆ حەوتەمین فێستیڤاڵی ساڵانەی ئەنیمەیشنی فلۆریدا کاری کردووە، ئەندامی ڕێکخراوی ئاسیفای ئێرانە. ئەو سەبارەت بە فۆونتەین دەڵێت: “ئەم فیلمە بە ئیلهام وەرگرتن لە ئەزموونە کەسییەکان، توخمەکانی واقیع و فانتازیا تێکەڵ دەکات، کەشێکی ناوازە و لە هەمان کاتدا گشتگیر دروست دەکات.”
