Synopsis
A woman flees her abusive husband, seeking refuge in the long-abandoned house where she grew up—a place once filled with safety, now heavy with memory. As the past and present blur within its walls, she confronts the physical and emotional scars she carries, and the silence that has shaped her survival. Drawn to the edge of despair, she faces a final, unseen choice. Director's Bio
Shko J. Aziz, born in 1993 in Silêmanî, moved to the United Kingdom at the age of 7. His passion for film began at an early age, when a prison warden allowed the children to spend an hour each day watching television in his office, introducing him to the power of visual storytelling.Now with over 11 years of experience as a director of photography, Shko has built his career behind the camera, developing a strong visual style and a deep understanding of cinematic storytelling. He works with Title Productions, collaborating on a range of film and media projects. While established as a cinematographer, he has recently begun his journey as a director, bringing his visual expertise and unique life experiences into his own storytelling. Drawing from his Kurdish heritage and personal history, his work is driven by a passion for authentic, human-centred stories that explore identity and resilience.
