Witching Hour

Synopsis: 

Jiar has a night job, driving a factory route. His wife Avin has adjusted to spending nights alone. One night the radio news reports that wolves are losing their habitat due to fires. While Jiar and Avin are on a video call, she tells him she hears wolves howling outside. She asks him to come home right away because she’s afraid. But if he does as she asks, he’ll lose his job.

Director’s biography:

Hawar Rehimi was born in 1993 in Piranshahr in Iranian Kurdistan.  He has worked in cinema for 8 years, not only writing and directing but also designing sets and planning. He also works as an environmental journalist.
