Arjen Brûsk, traditional Kurdish dancer

rjen Brûsk studied traditional Kurdish dance at the conservatory at Istanbul Technical University. He lives in Istanbul, where he works as a dancer, musician, dance instructor, choreographer, percussionist, and performance artist. Through his performances, he has brought Kurdish dance to many parts of the world.

At GovendIstanbul, which he founded, he teaches the basic traditional Kurdish dances that he has collected, including govend, halay, bar, horon, zeybek, zeibekiko, sirtaki, kafkas, and caucus. He teaches classes online as well.
