Synopsis: 

Hüseyin, a yogurt vendor living in a Syrian village, takes his daughter Zelal on his motorbike to deliver yogurt to his uncle. They meet a lost boy, Hemudê, in the town of Kobanê, and together  they try to sell the yogurt before it goes bad.

Rêger Azad KayaDirector’s biography:

Rêger Azad Kaya was born in 1992 in Ağrı. After studying cinema at Antalya Akdeniz University, he started filmmaking in 2014, shooting documentaries for TV. In 2017, he shot a behind-the-scenes documentary and acted in the film Ji bo Azadiyê. Then he worked as a cinematographer and editor on many short films. For the film Kobanê, he worked as casting director and actor.  When the Seedlings Grow is his first film—he directed and scripted it.
