Kajwan Ziaoddini, a Kurdish ethnomusicologist at the University of Maryland, will appear as a panelist at a session of the joint conference of the 2025 AMS Greater New York Chapter and the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Society for Ethnomusicology.
Kaiwan will discuss the music of Ali Akbar Moradi.
The panel consists of four presenters including Taiwan. Each will give a brief (5 minute) talk, and then the floor will be open to discussion.
