Synopsis:<\/strong><\/p>

In a remote mountainous region of Iran, the elderly Kurdish carpenter Hussein Mahmood trudges through snow, searching for wood. People in this area have lost their legs to landmines, and his work is to craft artificial legs for them. Observed by squirrels, he transforms tree trunks into wooden limbs, working in harmony with the stunning natural world around him.<\/span><\/p>

Xel\u00eel Sehragerd was born in 1980 in Marivan, Rojhelat (Iranian Kurdistan). Since 1987 he has worked as photographer, cinematographer, and editor. He is a member of the Iranian Photographers Association and has exhibited in galleries in Marivan and Sanandaj.<\/span><\/p>
