Synopsis<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>

Saeed is disabled\u2013he hobbles on a single crutch, dragging his lame leg. He needs a wheelchair. His neighbor, Nane Nabat, has a fine wheelchair\u2014she is elderly and near death. Saeed and his able-bodied brother Amir pray for Nane Nabat to die. She does die, and they try to induce her son Haj Morteza to let Saeed have the wheelchair.<\/span><\/p>

Vahid Eslami was born in 1976 in Ilam, Rojhelat (Iranian Kurdistan). He studied art at Tehran University of Art and Architecture. He is a filmmaker, film and theater critic, screenwriter, director, and producer for radio and television. Since 2002 he has lectured on filmmaking at the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, and he has written\u00a0 film criticism since 2004. He is the founder and CEO of Asr Zohour Film Company. <\/span><\/p>
