Synopsis<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>

In a border village between Iran and Iraq, 12-year-old Tino lives with his parents. His sole friend is his horse, which also happens to be his father\u2019s only means of transportation and the family\u2019s source of income. After a heart-breaking incident in the mountains, Tino senses that the horse\u2019s life is in danger, and he must quickly make a momentous decision.<\/span><\/p>

Fargol Masrourirad<\/strong> was born in 1988 in Tehran. She is a Ph.D. student in architecture at the University of Tehran. From 2018 to 2020 she made several experimental short films. <\/span>Hooves Beat<\/span><\/i> is her professional film debut.<\/span><\/p>

Seyed Hossein Zeitoon<\/strong> Nejad<\/strong> was born in 1984 in Shiraz and grew up in Tehran.\u00a0 He holds a degree in business management from the University of Zanjan. He started his film career as an actor and director in 2017 and has made several short films.<\/span><\/p>
