Bilal Korkut was born in 1987 in Nusaybin district in Mardin province. He graduated from Dicle University\u2019s Turkish Education Department in 2009. He earned an MA degree from the Kurdology Institute of Artuklu University in 2015. He directed several plays including <\/span>We Are Neighbors, Women\u2019s Tales, Grandma and the Fox, <\/span><\/i>and<\/span> The Little Prince.<\/span><\/i> In 2016 he began studies in the film and television department at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in \u0130stanbul but left the program to return to Mardin. There he enrolled in a graduate program in the communications department of Mardin Artuklu University. He lives in Mardin where he studies and works as a secondary-school language arts teacher<\/span><\/p>
