\"AyferAyfer D\u00fczda\u015f (1973- ) was born in Ko\u00e7giri, Sivas, a region where Kizilba\u015f Alevi culture was strong. Her family had fled from Dersim to Erz\u00eengan during the 1938 massacre, and from there they moved to Sivas. When\u00a0 she was nine years old, her family moved to Istanbul.<\/p>

In 1998 she studied voice and violin at the Fine Arts High School in Pera. Afterward she joined the Koma Asm\u00een (Admin Group), which consisted of eleven women, and Veng\u00ea Sodir\u00ee, a group that performs in Zazak\u00ee.<\/p>

She collaborated on three albums that archived traditional Kurdish folk songs: \u015eahiya Stranan-1 <\/em>(2000) with Kom Muzik, \u015eahiya Stranan-2<\/em> (2004) with Veng\u00ea Sodir\u00ee, and \u015eah\u00eeya Stranan-3<\/em> (2011).<\/p>

In 2008, she released her first solo album<\/a>, Leylan<\/em>. \u00a0In 2012 she recorded the lamentations of wailing women (a tradition in the Ko\u00e7giri region), collected them, and turned them into an album.<\/p>

In 2017 she released the album<\/a> Ji Xorasan\u00ea heta \u00c7orim\u00ea Neway\u00ean Kurd\u00ean Elew\u00ee<\/em> (Kurdish-Alevi Melodies from Khorasan to \u00c7orum), a compilation of music she recorded from Kurdish Alevi regions.<\/p>

In 2022 she released the album Kilom\u00e9n \u00c2rxaw\u00fbn\u00e9,<\/em> which she collected while traveling from village to village in Erxewan, Yazixan, Hek\u00eemxan and Arxa in Melet\u00ee. Don’t miss the haunting “Weda Weda<\/a>.”<\/p>
