On Friday, March 21, you can join Michael Chyet to celebrate Newroz, with a set of Kurdish dances (along with a Palestinian dance for good measure). Based in Chicago, It starts at 9:20 there and 10:20 ET, in New York.

“You’re welcome to Zoom in!” the mamoste says. “My set will be about 30 minutes, with live musicians in the sets before me and after me. If you can join around 9:30 or 10:00 pm East Coast time, you will be ahead of the game!”
