Director Cemîl Mefaxirî greets NYKFF7
NYKFF7 is thrilled to be screening the film I Had Seeded Pomegranate for You, directed by Cemîl Mefaxirî, this coming October.

Cemîl Mefaxirî (Jamil Mafakheri) was born in 1975 in Sanandaj, Rojhelat/Iranian Kurdistan. He started art activities in 1991. He has produced several short films including A Bottle of Milk for My Sister, The First Sin, The Bet, My City Sna, Sargol and the Sea, The Drum. Also he produced several fiction collections such as: Workshop, The Cap, Once in the Neighborhood, The Flood. He has also made several documentaries and published multiple articles and books in journals.
